Linkaload — New Zealand Freight Connection Platform
Version 1.2 · Last updated: 30 May 2025 · Governing Law: New Zealand
By using Linkaload, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. Business users confirm they have authority to bind their organisation to these terms.
Linkaload is a marketplace facilitator only. Linkaload does not provide transport services, does not carry freight, does not act as a freight agent or carrier, and is not a party to any transport agreement between shippers and transporters. All freight arrangements are made directly between users.
A booking becomes legally binding once an offer has been accepted by both parties and payment has been confirmed by the shipper. At that point:
A flat platform service fee of $10 NZD is added to the shipper's payment and $10 NZD is deducted from the transporter's payout per confirmed booking, totalling $20 NZD per completed booking. The minimum freight value for a booking is $50 NZD. Linkaload reserves the right to modify fees with reasonable notice to users. No listing fee is charged to shippers for posting loads.
Payments are collected by Linkaload via Stripe on behalf of the transporter. Funds are held by Linkaload until the shipper confirms delivery. Following confirmed delivery, net funds (after platform fee deduction) are transferred to the transporter within 2 business days. Linkaload is not responsible for payment processing delays caused by banking institutions, Stripe, or card issuers.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Linkaload excludes all liability for any loss, damage, delay, injury, cost, claim, or expense arising from use of the platform or from any transport arrangement made through it. This includes but is not limited to freight damage, transit delays, contractual disputes, insurance failures, and payment defaults between users.
Linkaload does not provide cargo insurance, carrier insurance, public liability insurance, or any other insurance. Transporters must hold appropriate insurance for their operations. Shippers must satisfy themselves that a transporter carries adequate insurance before engaging their services. Linkaload does not verify insurance and accepts no responsibility for uninsured losses.
All disputes regarding freight, damage, loss, delays, pricing, service quality, or payment must be resolved directly between the shipper and transporter. Linkaload may assist with communication where appropriate but is not responsible for resolving disputes, determining liability, or providing compensation. Photo evidence (pickup and delivery) stored on the platform may be referenced by parties as part of their dispute process.
Users are responsible for the accuracy of all information posted on Linkaload. Shippers and transporters must independently verify each other's credentials, insurance, and suitability. Users must comply with all applicable New Zealand laws, including the Land Transport Act, Health & Safety at Work Act, and Privacy Act 2020.
Linkaload may provide profile verification features. Verification does not guarantee identity, licensing, qualifications, insurance, financial standing, or suitability of any user. Users must carry out their own due diligence before entering any arrangement.
User data is collected and used in accordance with New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020. We do not share personal information with third parties except as required to facilitate transport arrangements. By using Linkaload, users consent to receiving account notifications, booking notifications, offer notifications, platform alerts, transactional emails, and system communications required to operate the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Linkaload reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Current version and date are displayed at the top of this page.
